Welcome to the world of Dusty Strings harps! We are builders of lever harps (also commonly called folk or Celtic harps) and have been lovingly handcrafting our instruments in Seattle, WA since 1979. We invite you to browse to your heart's content, and if at any point you would prefer to talk to a person, feel free to give us a call! This VST instrument was created with a harp recorded in a very warm and soft sounding room, for a much more intimite and pleasing sound. It has also been recorded in such a way that it can easily be applied to all sorts of mixes and styles of music and fit wonderfully with other instruments, reverb etc.

Product Description
Michaela’s Celtic harp was created especially for those who love the delicate yet feisty spirit of Celtic music.
If you’re a professional composer or an enthusiastic hobbyist then the Professional edition of this wonderful library is going to be ideal for you. It features three microphone positions – direct input, stereo close, and stereo room – that offer lots of flexibility for mixing and blending the instrument within your template, something that you won’t find in similar libraries.
Articulations
The instrument includes normal plucked samples recorded at three dynamic levels. This is the default articulation and has that quintessential warm, resonant, sound that is unique to the Celtic harp.
For occasions when it’s desirable to have a little less resonance we’ve not only provided a release time slider on the interface, we also recorded a separate set of damped string samples. To create these Michaela used her hands to damp the strings around the one being plucked. This provides a rounder sound that tails off a bit more quickly.
Playable stopped strings
Some pieces call for the player to stop one or more sounding strings with their hands. This has a unique sound as the vibrating string is brought to an almost instant stop. Michaela’s harp allows you to perform this technique live using a single key switch that stops any playing notes and triggers individual stopped samples for each one.
New vst plugins this month. Speed controlled triplets
Playing quick groups of three notes is a common occurrence in Celtic harp music and is not easy to simulate with individual plucked samples. The triplet recordings in our library cover the mid-range of the instrument where this technique is most often used. They can be sped up or slowed down using a simple slider on the interface to allow them to fit the tempo of your music.
Lite edition
The Lite edition of this library is great if you’re looking for an instrument with a smaller resource footprint or all you need is one microphone position. It features the same range of articulations and you can upgrade to the Professional edition at any time.

Trying things out and exploring new territory is hugely important when trying to craft something unique, and using multiple VST plugins will give you a wide range of instruments and sounds to work with. https://guruyellow234.weebly.com/latest-vst-plugins-vol-060.html. Some VST plugins strictly model themselves on reproducing sounds you would expect from analogue instruments, but others go way beyond that. Chaining multiple VST plugins together sis a typical way to start crafting a sound you can call your own. Wavetable VST plugins like MASSIVE and MASSIVE X tend to focus on helping producers create something unusual and completely different to traditional instruments, and can be more useful for experimental productions than other VST plugins.

Your VST plug-ins must be Mac OSX-compatible.Will it work with PC VST plug-ins?No.Does it require a particular variety of Mac OSX VST plug-in?There are two sub-formats of VST plug-in on Mac OSX: 'Carbon-CFM' (which is closer to the original OS 8 / 9 VST format), and 'Mach-O' (which fits in better with Mac OS X standards and Apple's future plans for the OS). The VST to RTAS Adapter supports both and works equally well with either.Does it support automation?Yes. Use later versions of OSX at your own risk. Will it work with Mac OS 9 VST plug-ins?No. Rtas to vst wrapper free. VST plug-ins' parameters are mapped to equivalent RTAS parameters. Are there any currently known compatibility issues?VST 2.4VST2.4 (or above) plugins are NOT supported.
